As we launch two Sunday morning services at Oakwood in the fall of 2017, we are also starting a new process for weekly updates. We won't be doing live announcements on Sunday mornings during the services. Instead we will be filming weekly update videos that we can send out via email, social media and our website. We will also show them before the 9am and 11am worship services begin at the church each week. Watch these short videos each week to keep up-to-date about what's happening in the Oakwood Community Church family.
Learn about the special events, outreaches and other opportunities coming up in the near future at Oakwood.
Save the date for our 2017 Harvest Festival and start planning your Trunk or Treat theme. This is a free event and open to everyone! Wear your costumes, face painting, hay maze, candy, games, and more. Fall fun for the whole family.
Fall is here and Bacon and Bible is back! All men (9th grade and up) are invited to join us. This month we will be off campus and meet at House of Providence located at 3921 Barber Road in Oxford.
This will be a special day for parents to declare their intentions of raising their children according to God's ways. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to raise their child in a Christ-centered home.
