The Men's Ministry at Oakwood Community Church exists to help men know Christ and grow in their faith. We do this through men's small group Bible studies, as well as occasional events, retreats and service projects.

  • Bacon & Bible events

    Bacon and Bible is for all men (high school age and older). Come and enjoy some fun activities, worship, bacon contest and a biblical message.

  • 33 Series Bible Study

    Thursday Nights 7:00pm

    Authentic Manhood is all about setting men up to live lives of truth, passion and purpose. This study is designed to inspire and equip men to pursue Authentic Manhood as molded by Jesus Christ in the 33 years He lived on earth. All men (9th grade and up) are invited to join us on Thursday evenings for this 6 session study. We are offering both Volume 1: A Man and His Design and Volume 3: A Man and His Traps. Workbooks are $15 each.

My wife, Kim, and I have been attending Oakwood faithfully since 2008. We have been married since 1993 and have three wonderful children: Colton, Gabrielle and Noah. I have served on the missions committee and as deacon in years past and currently serve with the friendship team, tech team, men’s ministry and as an elder. I work as a CMM programmer and enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, going on dates with my wife and spending time with the kids. I hope to graduate from Moody Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies in 2017.
