Oakwood has a wonderful group of musicians and vocalists who love God and love to worship Him through music. We are blessed to have these dedicated volunteers using their talents to lead our congregation in worship each week.
If you are interested in using your musical passions and abilities to serve the church, we encourage you to join us. We are praying for more people who have a heart for God and love to sing, play guitar, keyboard, drums, (and more!) to join the Worship Team. If you love music and have a heart for worship, but would rather not be on the stage, consider serving on Oakwood's Tech Team.
Contact Pastor Shane at the church office at (248) 628-6388 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested or have questions. We practice on Tuesday nights from 7:00-9:00pm at the church. Each week we pray together and then have a lot of fun as we worship together and prepare for the weekend services.
Kevin Bolte has attended Oakwood Community Church since 2009 and has a background in worship and youth ministry. He is the husband of Nicole and has 4 energetic boys (Keegan, Gavin, Jacob, and Mason) that keep him very busy. Kevin does insurance verification work for Mueller Reports in Southeast Michigan. Leading people in worship is a passion of his heart as well as training up new musicians to use their gifts to glorify God.
Tracy and her husband, Lowell, have three children: two boys and one girl. They are both middle school teachers, and love to camp, attend sporting events, and go to concerts. Tracy grew up attending and serving at Oakwood Community Church as her parents, who are also still members of the Oakwood family, starting attending right before she was born. Tracy LOVES to outwardly praise the Lord, and especially loves praising Him through music!
