When we launched two Sunday morning services at Oakwood in the fall of 2017, we also started a new process for weekly updates. We don't do live announcements on Sunday mornings during the services. Instead we film weekly update videos that we can send out via email, social media and our website. We also show them before the 9am and 11am worship services begin at the church each week. Watch these short videos each week to keep up-to-date about what's happening in the Oakwood Community Church family.

GriefShare is a support group that provides help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. Our second 13-week session begins on Tuesday, August 27th and meets weekly from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for a video lesson and small group discussion. You are welcome to begin attending at any point. Each session is "self-contained", so you do not have to attend in sequence. Sign up using the link below. Workbooks are $20 each. Learn more about GriefShare at www.griefshare.org

Topics to be discussed include dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and where to find comfort and strength.
