oakwood calendar & events

this week at oakwood

As we launch two Sunday morning services at Oakwood in the fall of 2017, we are also starting a new process for weekly updates. We won't be doing live announcements on Sunday mornings during the services. Instead we will be filming weekly update videos that we can send out via email, social media and our website.  We will also show them before the 9am and 11am worship services begin at the church each week.  Watch these short videos each week to keep up-to-date about what's happening in the Oakwood Community Church family.

  • Mel Walker - Going ON for god seminar

    Saturday, October 13th 8:15am to 12:30pm

If you are a Christian parent or grandparent, or if you are a pastor, youth pastor, or other church leader, I think you would agree that we want our kids to grow up and go on for God as adults. Youth ministry should never be a terminal program where teenagers graduate from high school, finish their involvement in youth group, and then walk away from the church. Yet, that is what is happening in the lives of so many emerging adults. It’s time to stop the exodus of young adults walking away from God! Download a PDF flyer Tickets are $20 per person and can be paid for at the door. Preregister for Going On For God
