The Men's Ministry at Oakwood Community Church exists to help men know Christ and grow in a relationship with Him and other men. We do this through men's small group Bible studies, as well as occasional events, retreats and service projects.

All men (9th grade & up) are invited to join us here at the church for Bacon and Bible. The morning includes fellowship, biblical message, worship, best bacon contest, and more. No registration needed.

Carter Findlay is Oakwood's Youth Ministry Intern for six months. Come hear his testimony and get to know him better. 

Men's Ministry Events

Here are some of the typical events hosted throughout the year by our Men's Ministry to encourage men in their faith and help them connect with one another.

Bacon & Bible
During the Fall, Winter & Spring we host Bacon & Bible special events. Men come together have some fun, be encouraged by biblical message, as well as enjoy great food from an ongoing bacon-themed cooking competition.
Men's Retreat
A purposeful weekend at a camp in Michigan, providing men an opportunity to get away to slow down, have some fun, pursue God and recharge spiritually.
Grill & Chill
Different men host us at their homes during summer for Grill & Chill, where guys can enjoy a meal, hang out and be encouraged spiritually.
