Oakwood Missions
Sharing the Gospel worldwide

Oakwood works with Missions throughout the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our dedicated Missions Committee stays in close contact with the Mission Teams we support and gives regular updates during Sunday morning services.  It is so wonderful to know that we are helping to lead people all around the world to our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Oakwood prayerfully and financially supports the following missionaries.

Hope Endeavors is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to bring HOPE to orphaned and vulnerable children suffering in extreme poverty through hope-giving partnerships and projects. Hope Endeavors believes the best way to address the daunting hopelessness in our world is by joining our hearts and hands with indigenous partners in the developing world who are already compassionately working to help overcome extreme poverty. We work with our partners to provide Children’s Homes that become the center of compassionate and empowered communities to bring HOPE to dark places.

Stand Ministries was founded by the late Dr. Terry "Shrek" Nalian.  The original focus of what was originally the "Stand Strength Team" was to engage people with feats of strength in order to have an opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  During their travels, they developed a heart for the people in rural areas of Kentucky where the needs are great.  The Stand Ministries team still performs feats of strength and they have added Cheryl Nalian's beautiful artwork to draw people in to hear about the love of Jesus. They demonstrate God's love by providing toiletries, school supplies, and other necessities to the people of Kentucky.

Oakwood supports Stand Ministries with supply drives, financial support, and prayer.

D&D are serving the local community in Southeast Asia in many ways.  They are learning the local language and culture in order to engage with people and tell them about Jesus.  They are searching to see how the local church is serving and meeting the needs of the people and to see how they can step in to offer help.  They work to build up local believers and to encourage them with the love of Christ.
