Hello Great Family,

Sometimes I sit at my desk and stare at the calendar feeling overwhelmed. I've heard it said, so much to do with so little time. But that is not true. Each of us have the exact same time allotted every day. Highly effective people only get 24 hours each day just like the rest of us. The truth is that we make choices, and those choices win our time. We never find more time; we make the time for what is most important to us. With all of that said, I still look at the calendar, take a deep breath and pray for Gods grace to make good choices.

Now here are some things I want you to consider putting on your calendar:

  • Sunday Worship (9am & 11am) We are back into our series in the book of Romans. This Sunday we will be looking at Romans 12:9-13.
  • Israel Trip Meeting this Sunday 10:20am Come hear the details about our adventure to the Holy Land next April.
  • National Day of Prayer Service Thursday (7pm 9pm), May 4th
  • S.O.S. (Serving Our Savior) Saturday, May 13th (Be at Oakwood by 9:30am) Sign up begins this Sunday. Be sure to sign up and fill out the Medical Release form. Sign up at the Oak!
  • People Feeding People Saturday, May 27th United Methodist Church in Oxford at 8:30am. We are looking for six servants to sign up for this one morning of ministry. Sign up at the Oak!
  • Oakwood Annual Celebration Sunday June 4th.  Information coming soon!
  • Homeplate 2023 Saturday, June 10th Tigers Game with service by SCORE Ministries. Tickets cost $35 each. Purchase Tickets Here or at the Oak!

Take a deep breath and pray for Gods grace to make good choices. You can't do everything, but we sure hope you will be involved where you can. We need you here at Oakwood. We want you involved at Oakwood. Your participation helps make Oakwood effective for God!
