Hello Great Family,

Another awesome week for the great family at Oakwood!  We had asked you to come support Baccalaureate at Oxford High School and to participate in our National Day Of Prayer service.  You did not disappoint!

I am very thankful for the people who came to Oxford High School on Tuesday for the Baccalaureate service.  Oakwood had a big presence and we felt supported having a Christian service at a public High School.  It went very well.  The students from Oakwood who participated did a wonderful job!  We can be proud of our teens!  I also appreciate our own Melisa Hall who really makes this happen each year.

What a great night here at Oakwood for the National Day Of Prayer.  Good turnout and participation on such a beautiful evening.  "Thank You" to the team who led us in worship.  Special thanks to Roger Sovis and Cheryl Bonjourno for organizing and promoting this event.  Oakwood desires to be dependent upon God through prayer.  Let's keep seeking the face of our LORD by devoting ourselves to the preaching of God's Word and prayer.

This Sunday Pastor Ted will give another message in his series in the book of James.  You will be celebrating communion and worshiping our great God together.  Have a great day!!
