Hello Great Family,

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  We certainly enjoyed Oakwood's Christmas Eve service!  Thank you for attending and bringing people with you.  I haven't seen the numbers yet but I know the services were well attended and everyone heard the Good News of the Gospel from Jesus' arrival at Christmas through His perfect and complete  sacrifice at Easter.  Special thanks to all that helped to make both services effective and special.

This Sunday, we have only ONE service at 10am.  We will be focusing on the New Year / Better You.  Come worship with us as we consider making better priorities for the New Year.

Next Saturday, January 4th at 10am will be our work day to clean up and put away Christmas decorations.  We need lots of help and we have tasks for all ages and abilities.  Come serve with some other good people from the great family of Oakwood Community Church.

Next Sunday, January 5th at 10am is our annual State of the Church address.  Come hear about Oakwood's purpose and plans.  We will also celebrate communion together and worship our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is a great way to start the New Year!!
