Hello Great Family,
Welcome to 2025! I pray your new year is off to a great start. Have you made any resolutions? Oscar Wilde famously said, “Good resolutions are simply checks that men draw on a bank where they have no account.” G.K. Chesterton said, “The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes.” Albert Einstien said, "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving." Whatever your thought are on the new year, I pray you make the most of it. Don't forget to put the "Big Rocks" in first and avoid overfilling with pointless or negative things. Life is too precious to give little thought to how it unfolds.
Saturday at 10am - we need helpers to come pack up and put away Oakwood's Christmas decorations.
Sunday at 10am - we have ONE service this Sunday at 10am only. This is our annual "State of the Church" address. Come hear who we are and why we do what we do. Come learn how you can participate in our mission. We will conclude our time with the celebration of Communion. Hope you will join us.
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
