Hello Great Family,

Thank you for such a wonderful Easter weekend!  The attendance at the Good Friday service and both Easter morning services was great.  I appreciate your work in getting the word out and inviting people to attend.  Also, the spirit was marvelous!  All weekend, we experienced the joy and blessed community of our great family at Oakwood Community Church.  Your love was on display and made a big impact.

Praise the Lord for the people who made spiritual decisions.  Let's pray that they will know Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him at Oakwood.  Thank God for the effectiveness of His Word and His equipping us to be effective for Him.  

Now that Easter is over... I want to make you aware of what is happening next.  

  • S.O.S. (Special Ops) - Saturday, April 13 from 9am-3pm. We are having a special workday at Oakwood to help do some Spring cleaning both inside and outside of our facility.  We haven't had one of these workdays for a long time and now it is time to roll up our sleeves and get some work done!  Lunch will be provided.  Please bring buckets, rags, shovels, rakes, and brooms.  For more information, contact our head Deacon- Ed Mau.
  • "Brave" sermon series from the book of Daniel.  Starting Sunday, April 14 we will be looking at the first eight books of Daniel to learn about living brave as exiles in Babylon.  Looking forward to bringing this series for the next eight weeks.
  • Family Dedication - Sunday, April 14th.  Contact the church office or use the sign up link if you want your children included in this special service. Sign Up for Family Dedication
