Hello Great Family,

This has been an incredibly crazy week around Oakwood.  Lightning strike, power outage, alarm system screaming, and no running water.  There was a moment where we were making alternate plans for a service this Sunday (porta-potties and everything).  Don't worry.  Everything is back to "normal" and we are planning a great service on Father's Day this Sunday.

We hope you can join us this Sunday as we continue to look at the Spiritual Gifts that God has given each believer to serve the church and win the world.  Think about that... a good father who gives His children everything they need (not necessarily everything they want) in order to be effective in this world.  Perfect stuff for Father's Day!

REMINDER - We need people to sign-up to serve on our S.O.S. Special OP's project at Oxford High School.  The project will take place this coming Wednesday, June 21 at 9am at the school.  We will be spreading pea gravel along with several beautification tasks.  Food will be provided.  Just bring work gloves.  Let us know on Sunday if you will serve so we can be sure we have an effective team ready to work.
