Hello Great Family,

Sorry for the late note but this has been a wild week and this is the first chance I have had to get this out.

Tomorrow will be another special day for the great family at Oakwood.  We will honor High School graduates during the service and then celebrate them after the service with some cake and lemonade.  Please take some time after the service to stick around, have a piece of cake and congratulate our graduates.

Tomorrow evening we will say farewell to the Elliott family.  The students will meet with Pastor Ben from 6pm to 7pm then the rest of the church will meet from 7pm to 8pm.  Pizza will be served at 7pm (probably some left over cake from earlier too!).  Feel free to bring cards and express your gratitude for the years of ministry at Oakwood.

Looking forward to tomorrow's worship service.  We are going to start looking at each of the Spiritual Gifts.  I hope to explain what each one is and how it can be useful in God's church.  Come join us in worship (if your coming from west of Hadley Rd. leave a little earlier to find your way around the detour)!
