Hello Great Family,

It has been a glorious week!  I had the opportunity, once again, to speak at Camp Barakel to high school students.  Several received Jesus into their lives and many others responded to surrender areas of their lives. Thank you for allowing me to get away every once in a while to speak. What a blessing!

I trust you took the time to complete the "Spiritual Gift Assessment" tool.  I have heard from several that it was beneficial and eye opening.  Remember, we do not have your results.  No one is going to call you and ask you to serve in your giftedness areas.  You need to step up and determine where God is urging you to serve and then contact us to let us know you are ready, willing, and able to serve. You need to take the next step. Thanks in advance for being the church at Oakwood.

This Sunday, you will be blessed to hear from one of Oakwood's supported missionaries.  Tim & Katie Cole, missionary with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) Japan, will be with us to speak God's Word and give us an update on their ministry.  I encourage you to participate with us tomorrow.
