Hello Great Family,

Excited to join the great family of Oakwood for our S.O.S. project Saturday at Amplify Ministry 4248 N. Irish Rd. Davison.  Pray for our safety and effectiveness.  Pictures will be coming.

The next great thing to talk about is our upcoming "Annual Celebration Picnic On The Grounds" on Sunday, June 9th following the 10am service.  We need you to sign up at the Oak or online by clicking here.  By signing up, you help us determine the right amount of food needed for the event.  Tickets are $1 per person or a maximum cost of $5 per family.  Obviously we are not concerned about the money, it just helps you make a commitment and for us to make plans.  There will be a baptism service happening at the picnic. If you want to be baptized, please contact the church office. We will have a few organized activities for you and the kids to have fun but mostly it is about the fellowship.  The great family at Oakwood needs opportunities to relax and enjoy one another's company.  This is our annual opportunity to know and be known by others.  We need and want you here!  Please make it a priority to be involved.

This Sunday, we will be in the book of Daniel chapter 4. Next Sunday, May 26th (Memorial Day Weekend), we start our summer service schedule with one service at 10am.  On that Sunday, we are participating with other local churches on the topic of "Unity".  I will be using the same outline as other pastor's to promote a sense of unity within our church and our community among followers of Jesus.  On Sunday, June 2nd, I will be performing a wedding in Georgia so Pastor Ted will continue his series in the book of James.

So many good things happening at Oakwood!  We are so blessed!  All that is needed is your participation.  Get connected...Be Involved!
