Hello Great Family,

We have transitioned to one service at 10am for the summer.  So far, so good.  Please be patient when the parking lot is full and it is a little harder to find a seat in the Worship Center.  I am hopeful that this opportunity to all be together (even though it is crowded) will be exhilarating and encouraging.  Remember, we are not encouraging you to not participate during the summer.  We want you to attend every opportunity you have to be here in person.  If you are traveling, our live stream is an option to stay engaged with the great family at Oakwood.

Next Sunday, June 9th is our annual celebration.  We will have a service with communion inside at 10am and then go outside for a baptism service.  Lunch will be served after baptism.  We have some activities planned but our priority is to give you opportunities to sit with others and enjoy sweet fellowship in a relaxed environment.  Be sure to get your tickets and sign-up to bring a side dish.  Stop by the "Oak" this Sunday to complete your sign-ups or you can call the church office for assistance.

There are several events coming soon at Oakwood.  Are you in?  Here is what is coming up soon:

  • Thursday, June 6th (6pm-8pm) - Men's Ministry Grill & Chill at P.D.'s house
  • Sunday, June 9th - Annual Celebration with picnic on the grounds
  • Saturday, June 22nd - Home Plate Event (Detroit Tigers game with Christian speakers)
