Hello Great Family,

Julie and I are praising the Lord for safe arrival of our granddaughter Eloise Lynn-Marie Hawley.  She was born Tuesday, October 8th at 10:49pm. She was 6lbs. 13 oz. and 19 3/4" long. Both Mom and baby are healthy and happy!  Grandma and Grandpa are out of our minds excited and JOY FULL!  Pictures will be shown on Sunday (or anytime someone asks and even sometimes when not asked).

We will continue our series in the book of Philippians this Sunday at 9am & 11am.  You are encouraged to read Philippians 2:19-30 in preparation for the preaching of God’s Word.

You have done a good job bringing supplies for our DRAW project.  I pray that we can fill the trailer with the needed items to keep their mission of mercy effective in helping hurting people.  We have received recent information that DRAW is asking for these specific items:

  • Towels
  • Washcloths
  • 4-pack of toilet paper
  • Sticks of deodorant
  • Tubes of toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Bars of soap
  • Bottles of shampoo (12-18 oz.)
  • 5-pack of razors
  • Combs
  • Toenail clippers
  • Hair brushes

If you have not already made your purchases, I would encourage you to consider focusing on this latest list.  Please have everything in the trailer this Sunday by the end of the 11am service.  We plan to deliver all the items to DRAW early next week.

Believe it or not, our annual Harvest Fest is coming up quickly. The event will take place on Sunday, October 27th.  Have you signed up for a trunk?  Have you added to Mt. Candy?  This is an, “All Hands On Deck” event and we need your participation!  Please sign up this Sunday.

God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
