Hello Great Family,

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  We are gearing up for the holiday season and I personally can't wait to enjoy the blessings of our great family at Oakwood. 

Here is what is coming for your participation:

• This Sunday, November 17 - "Thanksliving" Message.  That's right, we are going to encourage you to turn a one-day "Thanksgiving" into a life style of "Thanksliving".
• Next Sunday, November 24 - Our Missionary Dave Shutes will be speaking at both services and updating us on the ministry to French speaking leaders in Europe and Africa.
• Tuesday, November 26 - "Pie, Prayer, Praise" at 6:30pm. Our annual event full of worship, testimonies, and fellowship around some delicious desserts.
• Sunday, December 1 - Our "Christmas Playlist" sermon series begins.  Join us and invite others to experience this four-week series on the four Biblical "songs" that will bring us to the heart of Christmas.
• Friday, December 6 - One Heart Women's Ministry Christmas Event.  Sign up soon ladies.  This is a well anticipated annual event for the women of Oakwood.
• Sunday, December 15 - Our annual "Oakwood Cares" offering.  This fund equips our ability to meet needs in our community all year round.  Consider your sacrificial gift for this one time offering.
• Tuesday, December 24 - "Songs Of Our Savior" is our theme for both Christmas Eve Services (2pm & 4pm).  The services will include lots of musical numbers including the children's bell ringers and an adult choir.  We will also be singing many of the classic Christmas Carols of the season. We encourage you to indicate which service you intend to attend in order to ensure space for you and your guests.
• Sunday, January 5 - "State Of The Church" address. Come hear what God has done for our great family at Oakwood along with dreams and plans for our future effective ministry.
