Hello Great Family,
In his book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote, "Do not waste your time bothering whether you 'love' your neighbor act as if you did. As soon as we do this, we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him. If you injure someone you dislike, you will find yourself disliking him more. If you do him a good turn, you will find yourself disliking him less."
This Sunday, we will be continuing our Easter sermon series by looking at the “Shepherd Who Serves” in John 13:1-17. Last week we learned that Jesus is the “Son Who Sleeps” and the “Rescuer Who Rests”. Jesus laid down and slept because He trusted that His Father was in charge and in control. This week we will learn that Jesus kneeled down to serve His friends. BIG Idea: Jesus Is The Mighty Messiah Worthy To Be Worshipped… But He Chose To Pick Up A Towel Not A Title! He then gave us the mandate to do the same when He said, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Sunday is going to be special:
Remember, we still have only one service at 11am. We hope to see you here!
God Bless,
P.D. (Psalm 139)
