Hello Great Family,

Thank You!  Oakwood really stepped up and participated well in the "God Loves You Tour 2022".  From the work crew doing setup to the prayer team involved in the invitation and all of you who showed up... GREAT JOB!  It may have been chilly but my heart was warmed!

Estimates for attendance are near 8,000 people.  The Gospel was shared and many souls responded.  Gospel urgency meets Gospel fruit!!  Praise the Lord for His work in people's lives and our opportunity to partner in ministry.

Where is our next opportunity?  Oakwood's Harvest Festival is October 30th.  We have invited STAND Ministries to come take the stage that night to present our community with a positive, Biblical message.  We need everyone (that's you) to be "ALL IN" for this event.  Donate candy to make Mt. Candy grow. Sign-up to host a trunk for the trunk or treat portion of the evening.  Help us promote this event everywhere you possibly can.  This will take all of us!  We can do it!!

This Sunday, we will observe communion, enjoy lively singing, listen to the final message in our "Just Love" series based on the book of Nahum and participate in fellowship with our great church family.

Coming soon in October, we will hear from our D&D missionaries.  They will take a large portion of a Sunday morning service to give us a report on their ministry transition and help us fulfill our role as their sending church.
