Hello Great Family,

Thank You!  Thank You!!  Thank All of You!!!  What a GREAT Harvest Festival at Oakwood Community Church last Sunday!  First and foremost...thank you God for the beautiful weather day!  That made a huge difference and brought in a large crowd for the festivities.  Thank you Stand Ministries for kicking off the event with a "POWER"ful presentation for the "standing room only" packed house audience.  Thank you for bringing in candy for "Mount Candy".  Thank you for being so creative with the Trunk or Treat trunks.  Thank you for showing up early to set up and staying late to clean up.  Thank you for being kind and welcoming to our guests. Thank you for serving!! 

This Sunday, we will reveal the judges winners for best trunks and watch a recap video of all the fun.  Also, Pastor Ben will be preaching Romans 8:26-28 in my place.  Julie and I were graciously gifted some time away up north from some generous people at Oakwood and the Elders are allowing us to take advantage of this well-timed escape.  I trust you will have a wonderful Sunday and look forward to worshipping with you online.

On Sunday, November 13th, I will deliver a fireside chat to promote Oakwood's Holiday schedule.  I am so excited about our plans for November & December!  We have a great family here at Oakwood and this holiday season will be about encouraging our family to love God and love one another with everything we've got!
