Hello Great Family,

What a GREAT Easter weekend!  Good Friday was a good service.  Thank you, David House, for setting the tone for the weekend!  Easter was very special!  Thanks for your participation!

Thankfully, after preaching twice last Sunday, my back was fine.  Therefore, we made the decision to go back to two services.  Thank you for your patience having only one service the past few weeks while my back was resting.  Starting this Sunday, we will go back to having both 9am and 11am services.  Please help us spread the word so that everyone will know our current schedule.

Now that we have gotten past all this, I want you to be prepared for what is coming soon:

  • Saturday, April 23 – Music Fest Fundraiser Event for House Of Providence.  At Oakwood starts at 1pm and ends at 3:30pm.  Bring money for raffle…tickets range from $5 to $20.
  • Saturday, April 30 – People Feeding People ministry needs some people to serve from 8:30am – 10:30am at Oxford United Methodist 21 E Burdick St, Oxford, MI 48371.  Get more info and sign up at the Oak on Sunday.
  • Sunday, May 1 – Discover Oakwood Lunch. Learn more about who we are and what we believe.  Let us get to know you better too!  Call the church office 248 628-6388 or stop at the Oak on Sunday for more info or to sign up.  Childcare available upon request.
  • Saturday, May 14 – Home Plate 2022.  Tiger Game and outreach event.  $32 per ticket.  Get more info and sign up at the Oak on Sunday.  First 30 people get transportation provided.

We are back in our book of Romans series this Sunday.  Don’t forget, two services are available (9am & 11am).  We hope to see you here!
