Hello Great Family,

Happy Thanksgiving! I trust you and yours are enjoying a wonderful celebration of gratitude. Here is a Psalm of David that keeps coming into my mind.  Psalm 103:1-2 "Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits".  Be filled with praise!

I need some help! This Saturday, November 25th at 10am @ Oakwood, we decorate the church for Christmas.  There is plenty to do and we could use lots of hands and a few good backs.

This Sunday, we are going to talk about the blessings that come from having a grateful heart.  It is a "stand alone" message before we start our new Christmas series called, "What God Wants For Christmas" on Sunday, December 3.

Remember to bring a gift this Sunday to welcome our new Assistant Pastor Ted Jones. We are asking for either a monetary gift or a gift card to your favorite local spots to introduce them to our areas finest places. We need to wrap it up this Sunday so we can prepare to give them their gifts and welcome them to Oakwood on Sunday, December 3.  Thanks for participating with your family at Oakwood.
